Mr. Hoffman's practice concentrates on the strategic development of patent portfolios. He identifies clients' technical advantages and implements programs that capture these advantages as patents. Mr. Hoffman counsels on ways to minimize the impact of competitors' patents. He also formulates core technical arguments in patent and trade secret litigations.
Mr. Hoffman's areas of expertise include software, Internet technologies and computer architectures. He has significant experience with computer security, electronic commerce, encryption and digital rights management, computer graphics and animation, electronic content delivery, and mobile asset tracking.
