Fenwick & West represented Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ: SYMC) in the sale of its information management business, Veritas Technologies Corporation, to an investor group led by The Carlyle Group together with GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund for $8 billion in cash.
