Fenwick Represents Symantec in its Sale of Veritas Technologies to The Carlyle Group for $8 Billion

Fenwick & West represented Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ: SYMC) in the sale of its information management business, Veritas Technologies Corporation, to an investor group led by The Carlyle Group together with GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund for $8 billion in cash. The transaction is expected to close by January 1, 2016. More information is available through the announcement on Symantec’s website.
