Who's Who Legal 2010 Recognizes Two Fenwick Trademark Attorneys

August 16, 2010 (Mountain View, CA) – Fenwick & West LLP is pleased to announce that two trademark partners, Sally Abel and Connie Ellerbach, have been recognized as being among the world's top trademark lawyers in the 2010 edition of The Who's Who of Trademark Lawyers. In addition, Fenwick & West was listed as a leading trademark law firm, one of only six law firms in North America to be included.

The International Who's Who of Trademark Lawyers 2010 identified 572 of the best trademark lawyers across 70 jurisdictions. Sally Abel, Fenwick Trademark Group Chair, was named a "Most Highly Regarded Individual," one of only 14 trademark lawyers in the world to receive this prestigious honor. Ms. Abel, whose clients include Google, Cisco and the former Sun Microsystems, received top honors as "the highest rated California-based lawyer" according to Who's Who Legal. Ms. Abel was also named one of the most highly regarded trademark practitioners in the world in Who's Who Legal 2008, an honor reserved to 20 trademark lawyers, only eight of whom are from the United States.

"The 'outstanding' Connie Ellerbach is also included" in the list of the world's top trademark lawyers, said Who's Who Legal, which noted that Ms. Ellerbach's clients include Palm, StumbleUpon and Gracenote. Ms. Ellerbach was also recognized by Who's Who Legal: California in both 2007 and 2008 as being among the top one percent of California attorneys in the trademark field.

The Who's Who ranking is derived from research and analysis of opinions of law firm clients and trademark lawyers around the world. Additional information can be obtained from the Who's Who Legal website.
