Michael Egger focuses on structuring, drafting and negotiating complex technology-related transactions, including domestic and international technology licensing, development, distribution and acquisition transactions. Michael works on the intellectual property and U.S. export control aspects of corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, asset sales and joint ventures. He also counsels companies on protecting their intellectual property rights and on avoiding infringing the intellectual property rights of others.

Michael represents a broad range of companies, from privately held start-ups to publicly traded companies, and across multiple technology and business sectors, including software, hardware and semiconductor products, Internet products and services and medical devices.

Michael has published a number of articles on various intellectual property and licensing topics. He worked as a computer programmer and systems analyst with several major corporations before entering law school.

While in law school, Michael was Associate Articles Editor of COMMENT: Hastings Communications and Entertainment Law Journal.
