Fenwick Represents Accel Entertainment in Acquisition of Grand River Jackpot

Fenwick & West represented Accel Entertainment, Inc., a leading gaming-as-a-service provider, in its acquisition of Grand River Jackpot LLC, one of the first licensed video gaming terminal operators in Illinois, for approximately $100 million in cash.

This deal will strengthen Accel’s position in Southern Illinois, accelerate near-term growth opportunities and drive route efficiencies by bringing key services in-house and utilizing existing fleet and headcount. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of September subject to due diligence and other approvals. More information about the deal can be obtained from Accel’s announcement.
