Fenwick & West represented Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO), in the pending sale of its Service Provider Video Software Solutions (SPVSS) business to an entity backed by Permira, the global private equity firm. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of Cisco’s fiscal year 2019, following the satisfaction of customary closing conditions and regulatory review.
