Fenwick & West LLP represented CloudOn, Inc., the tablet app for creating, editing and managing Microsoft Office and Adobe documents in cloud, in its recently announced investment of $16 million in a Series B financing. The transaction was led by The Social+Capital Partnership, with participation from existing investors Foundation Capital and Rembrandt Venture Partners and new investor Translink Capital.
The company has raised approximately $34 million up to date, and plans on using this round of funding to scale business operations and develop a productivity workspace available on any mobile device. This will help redefine mobile productivity by making it easy and intuitive to create, review, edit, share, track and annotate information while on the go.
The Fenwick transaction team was led by corporate partner Cindy Hess and corporate associate Derek Huoth.
