Fenwick & West represented DataFox Intelligence, Inc., a cloud-based artificial intelligence (AI) data engine and derived business content provider of insightful data to optimize business decisions, in its acquisition by Oracle Corporation (NYSE: ORCL), a leading provider of a comprehensive and fully integrated stack of cloud applications and platform services. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
DataFox continuously extracts data on more than 2.8 million public and private businesses while adding 1.2 million businesses annually. Through the acquisition of DataFox, Oracle will be able to enhance its Oracle Cloud Applications with an extensive set of trusted company-level data and signals, enabling customers to reach even better decisions and business outcomes.
