Fenwick & West represented Gainspeed, Inc., the pioneer in DAA (Distributed Access Architectures) solutions for the cable industry via its CCAP (Converged Cable Access Platform) product line, in its acquisition by Nokia Corporation (NYSE: NOK). Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition will accelerate the acceptance and deployment of Gainspeed’s solution in Nokia’s well-established footprint in cable and teleco networks.
