Fenwick & West represented Phoenix Labs, an independent game studio dedicated to creating new AAA multiplayer experiences for gamers to create lasting, memorable relationships, in its Series C financing. Sapphire Ventures led the financing with support from Everblue Management and other current investors.
The funding will provide Phoenix Labs with the resources to expand their Vancouver and San Mateo studios while increasing live service operations. Phoenix Labs will also invest in developing new content for their debut title, Dauntless, leveraging the new funding to explore new platforms and reach new audiences.
