Fenwick & West represented Proofpoint, Inc., (NASDAQ: PFTPT), a leading next-generation cybersecurity company, in its acquisition of Return Path’s Email Fraud Protection (EFP) business unit, which provides standards-based DMARC authentication and proprietary sender-analysis capabilities. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition will enhance Proofpoint’s suite of email solutions to further enhance its business email compromise (BEC) capabilities – providing the industry’s most comprehensive solution to combat the threats targeting today’s enterprise.
