Fenwick & West Represents Magma Design Automation in $150 Million Zero Coupon Convertible Subordinated Debt Offering

Fenwick & West LLP represented Magma Design Automation (Nasdaq: LAVA) in a $150 million Zero Coupon Convertible Subordinated Debt Offering with Credit Suisse First Boston and UBS Warburg. The offering was priced on May 16 and closed on Thursday, May 22.

The Fenwick & West team, led by corporate partner David Healy, worked on an exceedingly tight timeline to negotiate, sign and close the offering. Rounding out the Fenwick team were corporate partners Horace Nash, David Michaels and Eileen Robinett and corporate associates Scott Leichtner, Nicole Black, Cameron Sheldon, Maddie Mann and Gabriella Ruiz. Tax advice was handled by tax group partner Ron Schrotenboer and associate Greg Hartker.
