Fenwick Represents Workday in $732.5 Million Initial Public Offering

​Fenwick & West represented Workday, Inc. (NYSE: WDAY), a leader in enterprise cloud applications for human resources and finance, in its initial public offering. The company sold 26,162,500 shares of its Class A common stock at a price to the public of $28.00 per share.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Goldman, Sachs & Co. acted as lead joint book-running managers for the offering, and Allen & Company LLC and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC acted as book-running managers for the offering. Cowen and Company, LLC, JMP Securities LLC, Pacific Crest Securities LLC, Wells Fargo Securities LLC and Canaccord Genuity Inc. acted as co-managers for the offering.

The Fenwick transaction team was led by corporate partners Jeffrey Vetter and Gordon Davidson and included associates Julia Forbess, Allison Anderson Cooper, Niki Fang and Adriana Sherwood. Partner Scott Spector advised on executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
