Fenwick & West LLP represented Cisco Systems, Inc. in its recently announced acquisition of privately-held KiSS Technology A/S of Hørsholm, Denmark. KiSS Technology is a leading provider of networked home entertainment devices such as networked DVD players and recorders. Cisco will pay approximately $61 million in cash and stock for all outstanding equity of KiSS Technology. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions, and is expected to close in the first quarter of Cisco's fiscal year 2006.
