Fenwick & West LLP represented Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO) in its acquisition of Meetinghouse Data Communications, Inc. of Portsmouth, NH. Meetinghouse is a provider of identity-based endpoint security for wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks. Cisco will pay approximately $43.7 million in cash and options for Meetinghouse. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions, and is expected to close in the first quarter of Cisco's fiscal year 2007, ending October 28, 2006.
