Fenwick & West LLP represented its client Cisco Systems, Inc. in its acquisition of SyPixx Networks, Inc. SyPixx is a developer of networked video surveillance software and hardware that enable analog video surveillance systems to operate as part of an open IP network. Cisco will pay approximately $51 million in cash and options for SyPixx in the transaction, which is subject to customary closing conditions. SyPixx is privately-held and headquartered in Waterbury, Connecticut. This is the 29th acquisition in which Fenwick & West has represented Cisco Systems.
