Fenwick & West LLP advised Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO) in its acquisition of Jabber, Inc., announced on September 19, 2008. Jabber's carrier-grade, first-class platform will enable Cisco to embed presence and messaging services "in the network" to provide users with deep aggregation capabilities and enhance Cisco's Collaboration portfolio.
