Fenwick is representing Frndly TV, a subscription streaming service that offers live TV, on-demand video and cloud-based DVR for an affordable price, in its pending $185 million all-cash acquisition by Roku, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROKU), a streaming platform.
This acquisition will bring additional customer value with affordable subscription services to Roku's platform. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the second quarter, pending customary closing conditions. More information can be obtained from the news announcement.
