Fenwick Again Honored as Americas Technology M&A Law Firm of the Year

Fenwick was named Americas Technology Law Firm of the Year at the Global M&A Network’s 2019 Americas M&A Atlas Awards.

This is the fifth consecutive year that Fenwick has earned a Tech Law Firm of the Year award for the firm’s M&A work; earlier this year, Global M&A Network also named Fenwick the USA Technology Law Firm of the Year.

Fenwick was also recognized with two 2019 Deal of the Year awards:

  • USA Corporate Deal of the Year in the large deals category for representing Workday, a leader in enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources, in its $1.5 billion acquisition of Adaptive Insights, a leading cloud-based platform for modernizing business planning.
  • Private Equity Deal of the Year in the $300-500 million category for its representation of Corium International, a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development, manufacture and commercialization of specialty transdermal products, in its $504 million acquisition by Gurnet Point Capital, a private investment firm focused on the healthcare and life sciences sectors.

Additionally, the organization honored Fenwick corporate partner Bomi Lee among the Top 50 Americas Rising Star Dealmakers. Lee concentrates her practice on representing public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions and other complex strategic transactions, including investments, divestitures and carve-out transactions. She was named to The Deal’s 2019 Rising Stars list and was also honored as one of The Recorder’s Next Generation Women Leaders in Tech Law.
