March 1, 2010 (Mountain View, CA) – Fenwick & West LLP, a premier law firm providing comprehensive legal services to technology and life sciences clients, has received high honors on The American Lawyer's 2010 Diversity Scorecard. The firm placed seventh in a field of the 200+ largest law firms in the U.S.
This is the second consecutive year that Fenwick has held the top seven national ranking as one of the most diverse U.S. law firms. This year, Fenwick & West earned its ranking with 35.3% of its attorneys comprising attorneys of color. The Diversity Scorecard is complied from the AmLaw 200 and NLJ 250 attorney numbers as of September 30, 2009.

Other recent diversity efforts by Fenwick & West include underwriting a survey of best diversity practices for leading firms that have been successful in recruiting, retaining and advancing African American, Hispanic, Asian, GLBT and female attorneys at the associate and partner levels in California.
