January 3, 2006 (Mountain View, CA) – Fenwick & West LLP announced today that it has elected three associates to join the Firm's partnership, effective January 1, 2006. The new partners are David A. Bell, Darren E. Donnelly and Daniel J. McCoy.

David A. Bell. Dave is a member of the Corporate Group and is resident in the Mountain View office. His practice focuses on advising start-up companies and venture investors, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, and counseling public companies in securities law and other legal compliance matters. He received his J.D. (Order of the Coif) from the University of California, Davis in 1997, his M.B.A. in corporate financial management and management information systems from the Graduate School of Management at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York in 1991 and his B.S. in business administration from the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York in 1990.
Darren E. Donnelly. Darren is a member of the Litigation and Intellectual Property Groups and is resident in the Mountain View office. His practice focuses on patent, technology, and intellectual property litigation and counseling with emphasis in technical computing, telecommunications, and networking applications. He received his J.D. from Santa Clara University in 1997, his M.S. in engineering-economic systems from Stanford University in 1994 and his B.A.S. in mathematical and computational science and economics from Stanford University in 1994.
Daniel J. McCoy. Daniel is a member of the Employment Practices Group and is resident in the Mountain View office. His practice focuses on employment litigation, including federal and state discrimination and wage/hour class actions, and counseling for employers throughout California on a wide variety of issues, including reductions in force, trade secret disputes, leaves of absence and worker classification. Daniel is an experienced trainer of executives, managers and Human Resources professionals, and an accomplished speaker who participates regularly on national and local employment law panels. He received his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law in 1996 and his B.S. in political science from Santa Clara University in 1992. Daniel is licensed to practice in both California and Washington State.
