Litigation Partner Andrew Bridges to Receive Vanguard Award from IP Law Section of The State Bar of California

Mountain View, Calif. (August 18, 2014) – Fenwick & West announced today that intellectual property litigation partner Andrew Bridges has been recognized by the Intellectual Property Law Section of The State Bar of California with its IP Vanguard Award. The award honors outstanding legal professionals who have achieved notable success for clients on IP matters, demonstrated leadership in the IP bar and the legal profession and made significant contributions to the practice of intellectual property law.

Considered a thought leader on cutting-edge legal issues, Bridges has 25 years of complex litigation experience in copyright, trademark, advertising, trade secret, consumer protection, unfair competition, licensing and other commercial law disputes. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and Practice (Oxford University Press) and as an advisory board member for the Electronic Frontier Foundation. He’s an active member in numerous organizations, including the Copyright Society of the USA, International Trademark Association, International Technology Law Association, Media Law Resource Center, Federal Bar Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.

Bridges will be honored with the IP Vanguard Award in November at the IP bar’s 2014 IP Institute.
