July 12, 2011 (Mountain View, CA) – Victor Schachter, Co-Chair of Fenwick & West’s Employment Practices Group, was recently elected as a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers (The College), which honors the leading lawyers in the practice of labor and employment law and promotes excellence in this field.
Fellows are elected by nomination only and limited to attorneys who have practiced for at least 20 years in the field of labor and employment law. They must also represent the following:
- The highest professional qualifications and ethical standards based on The College’s acclaimed Principles of Civility of Professionalism
- The highest level of character, integrity, professional expertise and leadership
- Sustained, exceptionally high quality professional services to clients, bar, bench and public
- Significant evidence of scholarship, teaching, lecturing and/or published writings on Labor and Employment Law
