The Recorder profiled Fenwick & West partner Jeffrey Vetter as one if its Attorneys of the Year for his work assisting late-stage companies in their initial public offerings.
For Vetter, who is co-chair of the firm's securities and corporate finance practice, recent representations include IPOs for issuers Facebook, Workday, Marin Software and Model N. As the article notes, in 2012, he also helped SuccessFactors delist from the Nasdaq and relist on the New York Stock Exchange, NYSE Euronext in Paris and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and assisted in its $3.4 billion acquisition by SAP America.
In paraphrasing Vetter, the article says that he enjoys “the collaborative process and sense of ownership in the process” that he gets from helping a company go public.
"I've been through a lot with these companies and the IPO is the ultimate goal,” he said.
In March, Vetter co-authored Fenwick’s inaugural Technology and Life Sciences IPO Survey, which analyzes key aspects of IPOs for the 90 U.S. technology and life sciences companies that went public in 2011 and 2012.
