The New Mom Brain Drain: Moms Leaving the Work Force

November 30, 2007

Securities Litigation Partner Susan Muck was recently quoted in an NBC news feature on working mothers entitled, "The New Mom Brain Drain."

The feature focused on the issue of mothers not returning to the workforce after pregnancy leave, and what some Bay Area companies are doing to help retain working mothers.

"I know I'm a better mom, because I also work," stated Muck, who also emphasized that it is more efficient and profitable for companies to try and retain employees then hire and retrain replacements.

The entire news segment is available on the NBC11 website.
