Max represents technology and life sciences companies in a broad range of litigation matters, with a focus on commercial and intellectual property litigation.

Prior to joining Fenwick, Max served as a judicial extern to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. While attending law school, Max worked as a patent and litigation intern for an intellectual property law firm. He also participated in moot court competitions, was a member of the Tech Edge program, and earned the CALI Award for Excellence in Remedies and Intellectual Property Law as well as the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Legal Research and Writing.
