R.J. has extensive experience advising trademark creation and corporate identity consultants and their clients.
For 20 years, R.J. litigated cases in federal and state courts asserting claims of trademark and copyright infringement, dilution, unfair competition, Lanham Act violations, trade secrets, false advertising, rights of publicity, defamation and invasion of privacy. He now focuses exclusively on trademark counseling, including enhancement and enforcement of trademarks and brands, prosecuting and maintaining U.S. and foreign trademark registrations, developing trademark compliance and portfolio management programs and resolving rights to disputed marks by negotiating licenses, assignments, and coexistence, settlement and transfer agreements with respect to trademarks and Internet domain names.
