Thomas Kang is a partner in Fenwick’s Startup and Venture Capital Group, where he serves as a trusted legal and business advisor to technology and life sciences companies, from day-one startups to high-growth ventures scaling toward acquisition or public markets.

Known for his practical, business-minded approach, Thomas counsels founders and executive teams through every stage of a company’s lifecycle, including company formation, venture and growth financings, strategic exits, and everything in between. His practice spans a wide range of sectors, including generative AI, enterprise SaaS, consumer products, digital health, and robotics, giving him a nuanced understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that come with building in fast-moving industries.

Clients rely on Thomas not just for execution on complex corporate transactions, including venture capital and debt financings, M&A, public offerings, and corporate reorganizations, but for his judgment and calm guidance in moments that matter most.
