David He focuses his practice on a variety of corporate matters involving private companies and venture capital investors in the technology and life sciences industries. He has experience advising on company formation, corporate governance and venture financings.
Prior to joining Fenwick & West, David was a corporate associate in the New York office of Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and IP and technology transactions.
During law school, David was Chief Articles Editor of the Columbia Business Law Review and was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. David previously worked as a summer law clerk at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and as a management consultant at Charles River Associates. He has passed the level I exam of the Chartered Financial Analyst program.
