Eric Krause focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation matters for clients in the technology and life sciences industries.
Eric has experience representing clients in patent infringement disputes in district courts, the International Trade Commission and in inter partes review proceedings before the USPTO’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He has counseled clients across a variety of industries and technologies involving semiconductor manufacture tools, design, and fabrication, Internet of Things (IoT), display and video coding technologies, mobile applications and wireless communications.
Beyond patent litigation, Eric has successfully represented clients in criminal and civil trade secrets misappropriation matters.
Prior to joining Fenwick & West, Eric was a senior associate at a leading international law firm where he represented clients in a variety of IP litigation matters. Before practicing law, Eric was an engineer and strategic alliance manager at a major microprocessor manufacturer, where he managed third party development and support of BIOS and systems management infrastructure for microprocessor platforms.
