Guinevere Jobson is a litigator in the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Litigation Group, focusing on trademark, trade secret, copyright and patent matters as well other complex commercial disputes. Guinevere has successfully resolved disputes in both federal and state court and she has substantial experience in commercial and international arbitration proceedings. She also counsels clients on IP enforcement and strategy and handles IP due diligence matters related to M&A transactions.
In 2013, Guinevere completed a one-year secondment in Paris, France with the IP Litigation group of Allen & Overy LLP, a leading global law firm with whom Fenwick & West has a strategic relationship. While at Allen & Overy, Guinevere gained invaluable experience in intellectual property and litigation matters in France and in Europe, including cross-border litigation, working on numerous copyright, defamation and patent matters.
During law school, Guinevere participated in the annual Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court Competition and the Glushko-Samuelson Intellectual Property Law Clinic as a student attorney and as a research fellow. She is an active member of the Queen’s Bench Bar Association; and has served on the Association of Business Trial Lawyers (ABTL) Leadership Development Committee.
