Jonathan (Jon) McMichael focuses his practice on litigation and patent litigation matters for life sciences and technology-based clients. He also has experience drafting and submitting patent applications to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Prior to joining Fenwick & West, Jon served as a Law Clerk for Chief Judge Leonard Davis for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
While in law school, Jon was Articles Editor for Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science and Technology. He also served as a legal extern for the Honorable Jon W. Thompson of the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division I and to the Life Sciences Division of Arizona State University’s technology transfer office.
