Mangesh Kulkarni focuses his practice on representing technology and emerging companies in intellectual property and technology-based transactions, including patent, copyright, and trademark matters.
Mangesh is also committed to professional diversity efforts and an active pro bono practice which has included representation of pro bono clients in immigration court and before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Prior to joining Fenwick & West, Mangesh was an intellectual property associate at Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, where his practice focused on patent infringement litigation arising from the protection or use of a wide range of technologies, including cellular networks, wireless LAN technologies, networking hardware and software, mobile devices, and online services.
During law school, he worked as a Clinical Intern for The Legal Aid Society, Immigration Law Unit and for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. Prior to his law career, Mangesh was a software engineer with Cisco Systems, Inc. He also was a member of the Order of Barristers, Managing Editor of the Moot Court Board, and a Robert McKay Scholar.
