Spencer Glende focuses his practice on a broad variety of intellectual property to support clients in the high technology and life sciences industries. He has extensive experience structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements, technology development agreements and strategic transactions, including collaborations, joint ventures and OEM agreements for life sciences, medical devices and technology companies. Spencer also manages the intellectual property aspects of significant mergers, acquisitions, technology transfers and corporate transactions.
Spencer was an associate at Fenwick & West from 1999 to 2001, then worked as in-house legal counsel for Alliant Techsystems Inc. from 2001 until rejoining Fenwick & West in 2005.
Spencer was an editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal and a recipient of the Boalt Hall Fellowship.
