Yixin Zhang focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on patent infringement issues.
Prior to starting his law career, Yixin worked in a variety of engineering positions for a company that specialized in the manufacturing of nonvolatile, low-power FPGAs for the technology and medical device industries. Drawing on his extensive technical experience, Yixin has represented companies in matters relating to a variety of technologies, including wireless technology, imaging technology, web and Internet technologies, and encryption systems. Yixin has experience in all aspects of pre-trial patent litigation including technical tutorials, claim construction, summary judgment, and expert discovery, and has had recent success in quickly and favorably settling matters for his clients.
Yixin has been named a “Rising Star” in the area of IP Litigation by Northern California Super Lawyers in 2015 and 2016.
While attending law school, Yixin was Articles Editor for the Computer & High Technology Law Journal, and served as an extern to the Honorable Jeremy Fogel with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
