The years 2005 and 2006 have seen a substantial group of decisions, including some cases of first impression that flesh out the law of primary and secondary liability, fair use, and various other copyright defenses, as well as further defining the application of the anti-circumvention and copyright management information provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
