Overview

Shannon Turner focuses her practice on litigation and regularly counsels and represents technology clients on a variety of trade secret, trademark, patent, copyright and complex commercial disputes. She has litigated cases in venues across the country, including in federal and state courts, arbitration and the International Trade Commission.

Shannon has successfully represented clients in all aspects of litigation, including summary judgment, trial and appeal. She recently represented startup CNEX Labs in a bet-the-company case brought by Huawei Technologies and Futurewei Technologies. Following a three-week jury trial in the Eastern District of Texas, the jury returned a favorable verdict on all claims of trade secret misappropriation, CFAA, RICO and tortious interference, and found that Huawei misappropriated trade secrets related to SSD controller technology.

Prior to joining Fenwick & West, Shannon was an associate in the litigation group of a leading international law firm.

While attending law school, Shannon was an editor for the Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal and was the recipient of an honorable mention for Best Oralist at the Willem C. Vis (East) International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hong Kong.
