2017 Bench & Bar Conference

Federal Circuit Bar Association will be hosting its annual Bench & Bar Conference in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho this year. It will be held at the The Coeur d’Alene Resort starting on Wednesday evening, June 21st with a welcome reception, and ending on Saturday afternoon​, June 24th with our final session at 12:15 pm.

Matters explored at the upcoming Bench and Bar Conference will include:

  • Remarks of the Director, US Patent and Trademark Office
  • Claim Construction
  • Next Generation, Ethics & Diversity
  • Appeals to the Federal Circuit from the PTAB
  • Trade and Trade Secrets
  • Disrupters and the Challenges to Innovation

Fenwick Partner Charlene Morrow will be speaking on Saturday's town hall panel, "Possibilities and Pitfalls Ahead," where Trade experts from Federal agencies, the International Trade Commission, and the private bar, will come together to discuss the possibilities and pitfalls facing the manufacturing and trade communities under the new Administration. Moderated by a seasoned Department of Justice litigator, the panel will explore changes in the steel industry, our role in the WTO, and other newsworthy topics.​​
