Knable v. Intuit

Represented Intuit in an asserted consumer class action under Bus. & Prof. Code § 17200, the Consumer Legal Remedies Act and various common law theories, alleging Intuit's use of security software for product activation in TurboTax constituted spyware and damaged users' computers. The complaint was dismissed in its entirety on Intuit's second demurrer, in a ruling that enforced Intuit's shrink-wrap terms of use.
