Andrew will discuss the categories and characteristics of open-source licenses and the “copyleft” (aka tainting, hereditary, viral) effect of licenses such as the AGPL, GPL, and LGPL before exploring the primary ways in which companies leverage open-source software and licenses to generate revenue.​​​
