Fenwick lawyer Nicholas Plassaras was interviewed on the Berkeley Technology Law Journal podcast about the intersection of video games and the law.
Plassaras, a member of the Fenwick games team, works closely with video game clients, advising them on all stages of game development, marketing, and dispute resolution.
He spoke to the Berkeley Technology Law Journal about what new lawyers need to consider in this area – topics such as the IP issues unique to video games, which aspects of a video game are protected by copyrights, patents or trademarks, and how video game creators use the law to keep games interesting.
