Mountain View, CA (February 23, 2018) – Fenwick & West announced today that startup and corporate transactional lawyer, Eli Curi, has joined the firm as principal in its New York office. Curi is the latest addition to the firm’s New York office, which has grown from six attorneys to more than 20 since it opened in June of 2016.
Curi will help lead and grow Fenwick’s expanding startup and venture capital practice in New York. He represents emerging growth technology companies and their investors at all stages of a company's growth cycle, including venture financing and M&A transactions.

Curi joins Fenwick after recently being part of the leadership team (as its chief legal and business officer) at Operative Media, a venture-backed SaaS advertising technology company based in New York City that had a very successful exit. Prior to Operative Media, Curi was a corporate partner at a large international law firm based in New York City where his practice focused on emerging company representations, private equity and venture capital transactions, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. He received his J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law and B.A. from the University of Chicago.
