Matthew has a seasoned background representing public and private companies of different sizes on a variety of employment matters related to employment contracts and agreements, severance agreements, restrictive covenants, independent contractor agreements and discrimination and harassment claims. He also has extensive experience providing counseling around compliance with employment laws at the local, state and federal level, including Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Prior to joining Fenwick, Matthew served as counsel at a boutique firm where he advised early-stage companies on a broad range of employment matters.
