Nathan advises clients on the executive compensation side of corporate transactions, drawing on prior experience at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel and the U.S. Tax Court. His background includes tax controversy and advising on cross-border issues affecting large businesses and international entities.
Before entering private practice, Nathan served as an Honors Attorney at the IRS and clerked for the Honorable Adam B. Landy at the U.S. Tax Court. He has also represented clients in federal appeals and contributed to federal policy research through a fellowship at the Panetta Institute. In law school, Nathan served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Beth Labson Freeman at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Nathan also was an associate editor of the Santa Clara Law Review and a senior staff editor of the Tax Law Review.
