Overview

Rebecca Fewkes focuses her practice on commercial and intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on trade secret, complex commercial and patent disputes for technology, media and internet commerce companies. Rebecca has experience handling disputes at all stages, including pre-litigation negotiations, pleadings, discovery and dispositive motion practice in both state and federal court. Rebecca has a Master’s degree in conflict resolution and her experience encompasses all forms of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation processes.

Rebecca also has an active pro bono practice that includes representation of nonprofit organizations in contract disputes and assisting tenants in housing disputes. She is also an active member of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers and ChIPs.

During law school, Rebecca served as a senior articles editor for the Hastings Law Journal, as well as research assistant to Mary Kay Kane (an author of Federal Practice and Procedure). She participated in several moot court teams, earning first place overall, best oral advocate and best brief at the Pepperdine National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition and was state champion and best oral advocate at the Roger J. Traynor State Moot Court Competition.
