Fenwick & West represented Science Media, LLC, an L.A.-based startup builder that buys and invests in disruptive media and ecommerce companies, in the acquisition of FameBit, LLC, a technology platform company that helps creators and brands find and work with each other through sponsorships and paid promotion, by Google, Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL). Financial terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
With Google’s relationship with brands large and small, and YouTube’s partnership with creators around the globe, FameBit will be able to connect to even more brands to creators, engage more audiences, and make brand marketing more creative and authentic as ever.
