Fenwick Represents Tenor in Acquisition by Google

Fenwick & West represented Tenor, Inc., a leading GIF-sharing app on mobile and pioneer in bringing GIFs to mobile messaging with the launch of the first GIF Keyboard on iOS in its acquisition by Google LLC (NASDAQ: GOOGL). Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition will enable Tenor to accelerate improvements to Tenor’s service from users, API partners, content partners and advertisers. Tenor will continue to operate as a separate brand. More information about Tenor’s acquisition by Google can be obtained from the company announcement.
