Fenwick Represents Roofstock in $240 Million Series E Financing

Fenwick represented Roofstock, an online marketplace for investing in the single-family rental home sector, in its $240 million Series E financing round. The investment was led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 with participation from existing and new investors including Khosla Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Bain Capital Ventures, Canvas Ventures, Citi Ventures, First American Financial, Expanding Capital, 7GC & Co., JLL Spark, SVB Capital, The Private Shares Fund, Masco Ventures, Newton Investment Management North America, Pegasus Technology Ventures, CAZ Investments, Moving Capital and DoorDash Angels.

The new capital will be used to bring more industry-leading solutions to market, double the Roofstock team, develop products and services to optimize portfolios and strategic M&A. More information can be obtained from the company’s announcement.
