Mercury Interactive has acquired long-time Fenwick & West client Kintana in a cash and stock deal valued at approximately $225 million. Kintana was represented by a team of Fenwick & West attorneys led by corporate partners Jeff Vetter and Dennis DeBroeck and corporate associates Sayre Stevick, Garth Bossow, Cindy Garabedian, Dan Polsby, Sylvia Barboza, Connie Chung, Jonathan Stueve, and Khang Tran. The transaction also called for expertise from a number of attorneys in the firm's other practice groups: employee benefits advice was provided by benefits and executive compensation partner Scott Spector, with assistance from of counsel Valerie McInroy; tax advice was provided by tax partner Ron Schrotenboer; and intellectual property and licensing advice was provided by partner Lisa Kenkel with assistance from associates Jennifer Stanley and Rochelle Levy.
