International Tax Review also named the firm the U.S. West Coast Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year and awarded Fenwick with two Tax Deal of the Year awards. Presented at the annual Americas Awards Dinner in New York, the Americas Tax Awards honor top firms in North and South America.

This year, Fenwick received the Americas Media & Entertainment Tax Deal of the Year award for the firm’s representation of King Digital Entertainment in its $5.9 billion acquisition by leading interactive gaming company Activision Blizzard. The acquisition of the interactive mobile entertainment company made Activision the world’s largest gaming network with over 500 million users.
The firm was also honored with the Americas Consumer Products Tax Deal of the Year for its work on the merger of Johnson Controls and Tyco. The merger positions the company as leader in products, technologies and integrated solutions for the building and energy sectors.
